Mongoose Bat - Does it really have the potential to revolutionise Cricket?

Mongoose bat - a new generation bat, specifically designed for T20 Cricket was launched in India on the eve of IPL -3 by Matthew Hayden, former Australian Cricket Player and an ambassador of Mongoose Cricket Ltd., (the manufacturer of the bat).
The handle of the bat is 43% longer and the blade is 33% shorter than the conventional bat. The manufacturer claims that this bat provides 20% more power and 15% more speed.
Creator of the bat Marcus Codrington Fernandez, Director, Mongoose Cricket Ltd. declared that Australian Andrew Symonds and West Indian Dwayne Smith have also signed a contract with them and will be seen with this bat during the IPL.
According to Fernandez, Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) had declared the bat legal and permitted its use in India and worldwide. At present, 100 bats in two categories will be launched in India and all of them would be signed by Hayden; price of the bat is between Rs.17000 and Rs.23000.
Matthew Hayden thinks the Mongoose has the potential to revolutionise cricket. The bat allows you to hit the ball harder without changing your technique. Its increased leverage and lighter weight letting you swing it faster and with more power.

"I was a bit skeptical at first but after hitting with it, I reckon it will take the world by storm." - Stuart Law, the former Australian player.

Does the bat really have the potential to revolutionise cricket? We have already seen Matthew Hayden playing with that bat in IPL-3, but we haven't seen the magic of Mongoose till date.
We'll have to wait and watch.
