South Africa needs one more rain hit day like today, India needs a bright and sunny day

South Africa survived for one day, courtesy Hasim Amla and bad weather. Rain God heard South Africans prayer and India could managed to bowl only 34.1 overs in 157 minutes of play in the stop start day. Hashim Amla, who had scored 367 runs in two innings with an average of 367.0 before this, is once again negotiating Indian bowlers brilliantly.

India needs 7 more South African wickets in the last day to win the match and to remain at number one position in Test ranking. It’s the time which India needs badly to take the remaining 7 South African wickets. Time has been the main constraint since the first day of this match. Till the stump of the fourth day only 273 overs have been bowled against the total quota of 360 overs in four days, almost one day of match has been wasted so far.

Tomorrows 90 overs are going to be very very crucial for the decision of the series. South Africa needs a day like today and of course India needs a full day of 90 overs.

Let’s hope for the best and pray to God for a bright and sunny day

Brief Score:

South Africa 296 and 115 for 3 (Amla 49*, Mishra 2-15) trail India 643 for 6 declared by 232 runs
