Eden Garden witnessed the Magical Turnaround once again
Wow...what a turn around, nobody could have thought about the final score of the day after South Africa reached 228 for 2 at Tea. This is Cricket, it’s so unpredictable... anything can be possible in Cricket, just keep patience, do your basics right, keep on trying and last but not the least never give up. Once again the crowd of Eden Garden, Kolkata witnessed the magical turn around, but this time the opponent team is South Africa not Australia.
South Africa had reached 218 for 1 in 58 overs after winning the toss and batting first, courtesy a 209 run partnership for the second wicket and assured and quick centuries from Hasim Amla and debutant Alviro Petersen, when the famous Eden Gardens turnaround began. Eight South African wickets fell for just 43 runs. Once again the turbunator, Harbhajan Singh did the magic with the help of Zaheer Khan this time... both of them took three wickets each.
The day is really memorable for the crowd of Eden Garden. In the morning they saw a brilliant partnership and superb batting show by two South Africans, and in the afternoon they saw the famous old story of Eden Garden - the magical turn around.
Finally South Africa reached 266 with number 10 & 11 at the crease. Now India will have to capitalize the situation. This type of opportunity never comes twice... so make the most of it and don't look back.
