Have you ever seen seven Bangadeshi close in fielders fielded against world number one team (As per ICC Test Cricket Ranking, India is currently at the top of the table)? Today we got the opportunity to watch this scene...yes my dear friends, I am not talking about any film or ad...that was the real situation took place at Zohur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium, Chittagong, Bangladesh during the 1st day of 1st test match between India and Bangladesh. Bangladeshi captain Shakib Al Hasan was bowling to Indian number 10 batsman Ishant Sharma with two sleeps, two gullies, one leg slip, one silly mid off and one forward short leg. Indian team crumbled like a house of cards in front of so called "ordinary" Bangladeshi bowling attack lead by captain Shakib Al Hasan and medium pacer Shahadat Hossain who took four wickets apiece for 103 runs between them. It was a big punch on the face of Indian acting captain Virendra Sehwag (Indian captain MS Dhoni is out of the match due to injury) who gave Bangladesh team an ordinary test side tag at a press conference, on the eve of the match.
India are struggling at 213 for 8 at the stumps of day 1, thanks to Sachin Tendulkar who remains unbeaten at 76 with number 10 batsman Ishant Sharma. It's really very difficult for Indian fans to digest whole story written by really pumped up Bangladeshi tigers.
India are at the top of the table with only 2 points ahead of no.2 South Africa. They will have to fight back well and win the series against the bottom most team of the table to retain the position.
This is Cricket...the game of uncertainties, anything can happen...you never know.
So come on India...forget everything what happened today, tomorrow is a new day, think positively and give your best. You are the numero uno...you are the best.
