Justine Henin failed to overcome Serena Barrier
Justine Henin failed to make her comeback as a dream one, Defending Champion and World number one Serena Williams ended Henin's great comeback journey with a 6-4, 3-6, 6-2 win in the final tonight at Melbourne Park. Seven Grand Slam winner and former world number one Justine was not on the top of her game tonight, but the 15000 people in the Rod Laver Arena witnessed some amazing speeds and gorgeous backhand from her and sheer power and stunning serve from Serena, who is really very tough to be beaten in the finals. Justine Henin failed to match the feat of fellow Belgian and long time rival Kim Clijsters, who won last years US Open after her return from a two year leave to get married and have a baby. This time Justine has to be happy with the runner up tray, but she promised to comeback next year with more determination and confidence to win the championship.

Congratulations to Serena! She is an outstanding player and is having an excellent career. I just hope she never has another outburst during a match like the one she had at the 2009 US Open.
